National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has assured Nigerians that President Muhammadu Buhari will fulfill his campaign promises but he needs the support of all.
Speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday on the sideline of the 2015 Presidential Inauguration ceremony held at the Eagle Square, Abuja, Mr Lai Mohammed urged Nigerians to be patient with the new administration which is ready to make extra sacrifices in order to satisfy their expectations.
“We are all excited and we feel elated because the day that we thought was not possible has finally comes.
“With today also comes very heavy burdens and responsibilities because the expectation out there is very high and people are expecting change overnight.
“Change might not come overnight in the sense of coming on Saturday but we are going to set the moral tone from today,” Mohammed said.
