Ondo State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, has nominated the state Commissioner for Agriculture, Alhaji Lasisi Oluboyo, as the new deputy governor of the state.
This followed a letter he wrote to the House of Assembly nominating Oluboyo as replacement for his former deputy, Alhaji Ali Olanusi, who was impeached on Monday morning.
The State House of Assembly is at present sitting to approve the nominee.
